I am considering face shape measurements as a starting point for that discussion. The aim is to describe the outline consistently, without assuming that a category determines the fit. Our draft briefing currently mentions overall length, cheekbone width, and the shape of the jaw. The briefing should make it obvious when we are naming an outline and when we are checking dimensions. We can make paper mockups, so there is no need to settle every detail with a category name. How would you explain this without turning a simple introduction into a long lecture?
